Do You Have A Church Problem?

Are you the Pastor or Lay Leader of a small, independent church?

There are an assortment of problems that small, independent churches encounter.  They can easily seem overwhelming.  We understand these problems, we have extensive experience in issues small churches experience.  Unlike the big consulting firms who charge significant fees, we view consulting as a ministry.  We do have fees, but they are affordable for any congregation.  Unlike the large consulting firms, we understand your unique challenges and are realistic about what can be done to resolve them.

Are you a Pastor or Lay Leader in a Church moving toward Inclusivity?

UAC Connections will we more than happy to visit your Church to assist you in becoming a welcoming and Inclusive faith community where all people truly are valued and included.  Most Churches that try to become Inclusive fall short of their goal and create a situation where diversity is at best barely tolerated - and then they wonder why nothing has changed.  Inclusivity is much more than hanging a sign that says everybody is welcome.  If you are serious about Jesus' example of welcoming and including all people you need to talk with us about implementing a strategic plan to make that happen.

UAC Connections Networking

One of the difficulties that can arise within small, independent parishes is a feeling of isolation.  It is easy to start to feel alone and isolated from the world.  UAC Connections offers two solutions to that problem.  The first is the UAC Connections Network, a network of independent churches that gather to share experiences, concerns, joys, sorrows, and fellowship.  You maintain complete autonomy, but benefit from companions on the journey.  UAC Connections Network churches receive a discount on all UAC Connections services and a quarterly newsletter.

The second level of involvement is for your church to become a parish of the UAC.  There is an application process for both clergy and congregations wishing to join the UAC, and a visit by a UAC staff member is required.  Your church retains local autonomy in congregational affairs and agrees to follow the UAC Canons.  The Canons do require that your church be fully inclusive and welcome all members.  UAC churches receive all UAC Connections services free of charge and are entitled to attend all UAC education and training opportunities at no charge.
